Tax Consequences For Homesellers On The Move

Thomas Musil's article in today's OC Register about the tax consequences when selling a home and moving out of the country is good information for all of us. It addresses the standard capital gains exclusion up to $250,000 per person and the 2 year eligiblity requirement. The article gives good information, but tax laws change and it is a good idea to consult your accountant or tax attorney prior to making a move.

If you are thinking of selling and would like a market evaluation on your home, visit www.EmailHouseValue.info. Your evaluation will be emailed to you...without having to talk with an agent.
